About the event

7:00pm - 8:00pm | Warrior Group
Peer-supported Warrior Groups serve as a safe space for combat veterans dealing with PTSD to share their experiences, discuss their ongoing struggles, and learn beneficial coping strategies. This concept is based on the understanding that shared experiences, mutual support, and practical advice from those who have been in similar circumstances can carry a profound positive impact.
Warrior Groups foster an authentic, judgment-free environment where veterans can openly express their feelings, challenges, and achievements. The camaraderie amongst members, coupled with the understanding that they are not alone in their struggles, can collectively contribute to alleviating common symptoms of PTSD, such as feelings of isolation, emotional numbness, and guilt.
